This is another new favorite of mine.
“The Sense of An Ending” is a deeply moral novel about the need to make sense of one’s actions, and the need to face up to the consequences of actions which may have seemed, at the time, inconsequential. Time, however, catches up to you. Irresponsible actions come home to roost. I was left pondering just how far responsibility reaches? This is a wonderfully thought-provoking and beautifully written novel, well-deserving of the Booker.
